Nothing new in this book. We're still attempting to save the world, but this time destruction is in the form of someone who wants to reverse all the previous good work. No good reason for it, just what he wants to do. She's told that she would recognize the signs. Well they're slapping her in the face, and she's not recognizing the signs. She's repeatedly told to go to forest cove, but does she? No, she wants to go away from forest cove to investigate something she already knows. By the middle of the book I'm screaming in frustration over her obstinancy. She runs out of time, amazingly avoids barricades, takes less than the minimum time necessary to get from where she is too forest grove, and even takes the longest route possible. All the time I'm wondering where she's got the Erhu, but she's got it with her and walks out onto the beach with no explanation as to why this is better than the bank, and plays a complicated instrument with amazing virtuosity. You think this is the end? You are at 80% of the book. What happens next seems like a replay, but it isn't, and the differences made my head spin like a top. Makes for a wierd feeling. I still found the book readable, but it didn't fascinate me the same way the first book did.Product details

What is time? When is now; when is the past. Has the future already happened?
The story from book one continues but the thread is twisted. Even the players are not sure when they are. Did they do something terribly wrong in the first book? How do they fix it?
One can not be sure of the time one is in but one can be sure it is the best of times. Is that the way we live our lives? I hope so.
Did Jennifer discover the secret to time in the universe? Did she change time for better or worse? If we could change time and its flow would we? Should we?
Can't wait for Book Three.
